Vote in the Washington Midterm Elections – November 8, 2022

WASHINGTON IS HOLDING CRUCIAL MIDTERM ELECTIONS – MAKE SURE YOUR VOICE IS HEARD!

DA Data Privacy Policy

What elections are there in Washington? What am I voting for?

Voting has never been more important and your vote is crucial!

Washington will hold its midterm elections for US Representatives and US Senators, a special election for Secretary of State, and for your state representatives and state senators.

All Washington overseas voters can vote in these important elections!

It’s vital to keep Washington Democratic! In the US House elections, Democrat Kim Schrier is in a close race to keep her seat.

And Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Pérez has an excellent chance to flip the seat currently held by Republican Jaime Herrera Beutler, who lost her primary to Trumper Joe Kent. Winning these elections means we’ll keep – and possibly expand – the Democratic majority in Congress.

And please vote in ALL the races on your ballot – Washington state elections are hugely important! State governments are responsible for voting and also for state policies on abortion and reproductive rights, climate change, education, and so many other issues that affect us no matter where we are in the world.

Electing Democrats will be crucial to ensuring the 2024 elections are fair, open, and inclusive. State elections can hinge on just a few votes – your vote matters!

1) Register to Vote and Request Your Ballot Today

It's easy to register to vote – and once you’re registered, Washington will send a ballot for every election you’re eligible to vote in.

Just go to www.votefromabroad.org and follow the prompts to fill out the form to register to vote, the Federal Post Card Application form (FPCA). To ensure you receive your ballot in time, please check the box on the FPCA to have your blank ballot sent to you by “Email/Online” or “Fax.”

You can send in your FPCA to your local election office in Washington by email (recommended) or fax or mail:

Your FPCA must be received by November 8, 2022.
