Tag der Deutschen Einheit (Reunification Day) Weekend Meetup
This year, the Tag der Deutschen Einheit will be in Bremen! The official holiday is on Saturday this year, but there are events happening the entire weekend. Friday is also the "Lange Nacht der Demokratie" in many places. We will have our Stammtisch on Friday (as it is the first Friday of the month) at Markhalle Acht (if you are interested in joining us for dinner, you can RSVP here). Many of us are relentless advocates for democracy, and so we though it would be nice to join one of the celebratory events happening beforehand! We decided this family-friendly, interactive activity celebrating Bremen inventions and discoveries would be good to take part in:
If you would like to meet us at the library, please RSVP. **We will meet at 5pm. It starts at 4pm, but we think an hour will give us enough time to enjoy this experience.**
Let's celebrate democracy this October! Hopefully, many of us will have sent our ballots back to the US already, so we can also celebrate our role in strengthening democracy globally.
