Skåne Election Watch Breakfast
Join us for breakfast and good company as we watch the reporting of the election results on the big screen. Family and friends are welcome! Please RSVP so we know how many people are coming. You can indicate how many guests you'll bring.
On Election Day, citizens of the US will be casting their votes in what appears to be a defining moment in US history. The next morning - Wednesday, 6 November - will be a truly unique morning for us as Americans abroad. Though we may be thousands of miles away from home, the significance of this election reaches us no matter where we are. Whether the results are still being counted or a winner has been declared, whether we gather to celebrate or commiserate, we can reflect on the previous night’s results to share our thoughts on how we move forward, as Americans, members of Democrats Abroad, and part of a broader global community.
This breakfast is more than just politics—it’s about staying connected, engaging in thoughtful discussion, and understanding our country's direction in the coming years. Of course, it’s about doing all of that over some good food and coffee to start our day right.
On offer is a hearty breakfast buffet (including American pancakes and Mimosas) for 150 SEK Per person. Let’s enjoy this time together, and as we dig into breakfast, let’s also dive into the conversations that matter most to us.
The venue is in Mobilia shopping center, a 10-minute walk from Södervärn Bus Station. It is also serviced by City buses 7, 8, and 24 and Regional buses 146, 100, and 999.
There is free five-hour parking adjacent to the venue, which is on the second floor of the shopping center.
