Meet the Democratic National Convention Delegates from DA Germany
The Democratic National Convention, in Chicago from August 19th through the 22nd, will be an unprecedented event. After President Joe Biden's decision to withdraw his candidacy, the convention will serve to make decisions that were unexpected just a short time ago.
Democrats Abroad Germany will be sending members to the convention, including:
- Quaide Williams, convention delegate
- Malaika Kusumi, alternate delegate
- Katie Solon, current member of the Democratic National Committee
- Kenton Barnes, DNC member from 2024 to 2028
Members of DA Germany are invited to this meeting with our convention representatives for a discussion about the campaign ahead, and about the convention coming up. Convention delegates will share their perspective and how they intend to act in Chicago, and members will be able to ask questions in a Q&A session.
On July 23rd, the DA delegation announced its majority endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party's nominee for President. The meeting will be an opportunity to learn more about the background of their endorsement.
