Unfortunately this May 2026 Walk & Talk has been canceled
due to impending rainy cold weather and poor trail conditions in les Paccot.

This hike will take us into the dense forests, open pastures and ski slopes of the small resort of les Paccots in the Préalpes Fribourgeoises. At the top of Corbetta, we stop for a picnic lunch and have a lovely view down to Lac Léman and across the western Plateau Suisse, as well as great close-ups of the iconic peaks of Teysachaux and le Moléson.

What to wear and bring: Wear layers, a hat, a wind proof jacket, take walking sticks if you use them, sun screen and bring your picnic lunch with beverages. Something to sit on for our lunch stop is a great idea, there is one table but it may be taken...the ground may be damp, Good walking shoes; we will be on well kept trails and some gravel road but it may be wet. See map for elevation view. It is 6km with 300m climb but gradual and we have enough time for the walk and picnic.

Hope to see you there, I am sure we will see some Narcissus in bloom along the way!

We will ride the Poste Bus to the end of the line at Rosalys to start and then return from the Ermitage bus stop in Paccots. See bus schedules below.
