Fourth of July Picnic
RSVPPicnic in Poble Nou for DA members, family and friends!
Those of you who attended last year’s outdoor AGM, know the place: it’s an “urban oasis” right between the famous Cementiri de Poble Nou (well worth a visit) and Platja Bogatell. There are sun-shaded picnic tables, and a volley ball net, basketball hoops and a ping pong table for people who are so inclined (bring your own equipment, first-come-first-serve). There’s also an area skateboarders can enjoy.
Food: bring your own picnic basket or buy food from the Càmping “gastro-chiringuito.”

It will be great to see all your faces again to break bread, enjoy an afternoon outdoors, and start talking about the upcoming election and what we can do to turn out every vote and get Democrats elected up and down the ballot in 2024. The election is just 16 months away, so now’s the time to start living up to our motto of having fun while getting lots done!
Since this is a public park and we cannot reserve it for our exclusive use, we also need volunteers to come early and help secure tables to accommodate everyone who RSVPs. Please RSVP so we can save you a spot!
Public transportation:
Bus: 59, H16, V25, V27 (bus stop in front)
Metro: Probably not an option. Check availability in the TMB Journey Planner, as the L4 (yellow) line is likely to be undergoing construction in July.
