Sitges Global Presidential Primary Ballot Assistance Event
DA Barcelona is holding its Global Presidential Primary on Super Tuesday. If you live south of the city, you may find it more convenient to attend an event closer to home. You're in luck! On Saturday, March 9, there's an in-person event in Sitges where you can get help filling out and casting your ballot for a Democratic presidential candidate. All members are eligible to vote in this global primary. If you're not yet a member, you can join at the event.
Preferably before the event, you must request your DA Presidential Primary electronic ballot. There are two ways to do so:
1) If you haven't yet registered to vote in the US elections this year, go to www.votefromabroad.org where, in addition to requesting your overseas absentee ballots for 2024, you can also request your electronic ballot for the GPP.
2) Already registered to vote this year? No worries! Just fill out the form here to request your Global Presidential Primary ballot.
NOTE: It's important to vote in the DA GPP even though there is only one candidate. Each vote cast in our primary helps increase the organization's influence in the party. That means more of a voice on issues that affect our lives as citizens living abroad and more input on the party platform. We urge you to cast your primary vote for president locally in our GPP and to vote absentee in your state's primary for all the downballot races.
