Join us for America’s favorite holiday! We’ll be celebrating at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne on November 27 at 7pm for our annual Thanksgiving dinner.
This Thanksgiving season, join your fellow Democrats Abroad organizers, volunteers, and community for an evening of gratitude, connection — and a little collective venting. Whether you're furious, fired up, or just plain exhausted, this is your chance to kick back, share a meal, and say what’s on your mind in a room full of people who get it. We'll share stories, laugh, maybe rage a little — and most importantly, remind each other why we’re still in this fight. Proceeds from this event go to Democrats Abroad Germany in our effort to Get Out the Vote in the 2026 mid-term elections!
🦃 The dinner includes a 2-course traditional Thanksgiving menu with roasted turkey breast, sweet potato mash, sage & onion stuffing, seasonal vegetables, cranberry sauce, and rich turkey gravy, as well as a classic slice of pumpkin pie with caramel, whipped cream, and mint. Alternatively, a vegan option is also available, which includes grilled "quorn" fillets with stuffing, vegetables, cranberry sauce, and vegan gravy. A kids' turkey plate is also available, simply a smaller portion. Please note: all drinks must be paid for separately on-site at the Hard Rock Cafe.
In addition to the proceeds from your participation in the Thanksgiving dinner, we invite you to
make an additional donation here to support our GOTV efforts as we approach the 2026 mid-term elections. The Cologne-Bonn Region Chapter will be planning postcard coloring sessions, phonebanking parties, and tabling events soon - every dollar makes a difference in reaching another voter!
Only prepaid Thanksgiving meals are guaranteed. Non-prepaid requests or walk-ins on the day are subject to availability.
