The U.S. Administration continues to escalate its attacks on democratic norms: undermining civil rights and social protections, manipulating voting rules for political gain, threatening free speech, targeting vulnerable communities, upending the international rule of law, and concentrating power at the top.
On Saturday, March 28, people in Victoria — together with concerned locals and citizens from around the world — will once again join millions across the U.S. and around the world in a coordinated day of action to say loud and clear:
No Tyrants. The power belongs to the people.
Democrat Abroad members are invited to grab some coffee and assemble at QV Cafe & Bakery on Government Street at 10:30am. We’ll discuss the challenge of authoritarianism, the international situation in the Middle East, and how we can keep strengthening voter turnout among US citizens living abroad.

At 11:30 AM those interested are invited to join the nearby No Tyrants rally at noon (organized separately in solidarity with No Kings) at Centennial Square, 645 Fisgard Street in Downtown Victoria.
