TAX BASICS: HELP FOR AMERICANS FILING FROM CANADA

TAX BASICS: HELP FOR AMERICANS FILING FROM CANADA

With Pat Fournier, CPA CA, CPA (WA)

Has tax season got you down?  Might you be a bit confused about your tax filing obligations and how to avoid double taxation?  Please join us on Sunday, February 16th, at 3PM Eastern (noon Pacific) to learn from an experienced cross-border tax accountant.  Pat will cover basic topics of interest for Americans living in Canada.  Bring your questions, and she will help us find answers in a lively Q & A following the presentation.

Pat Fournier obtained her CA designation in 2001 and her CPA designation in 2006. Her public practice experience has been from both sides of the border. She spent 10 years in Seattle and working in both public practice and gaining valuable insight into the banking industry through Washington Mutuals corporate office, then headed back to Port Coquitlam, BC to settle down. As a dual-licensed accountant, setting up a practice specializing in US tax was a natural fit. Pat now services individuals, small businesses and accountants.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn from experts in the field; RSVP now!

Did you know Democrats Abroad Canada is a 100% volunteer, 100% self-funded organization, and the work we do for getting out the vote from Americans living across Canada is only possible through the support of our members. Your generous donation, whether small or large, will be greatly appreciated to help us work to defend democracy.
