Democrats Abroad Labor Day BBQ
Mark you calendars for Sunday, August 31! The Düsseldorf-Ruhr annual BBQ is happening from 3pm - 7pm. New and returning members are welcome!
We will be meeting at Grillplatz 2 on the north side of Unterbachersee. It is the middle grillplatz in the location you can see on google maps here.
There are parking spaces nearby, and it is also accessible by public transit, either by bus at the stop 'Seeweg' or it is a lovely 30 minute walk through Eller Forst from the Eller S-Bahn stop. I am told the bicycle ride there is also very nice.
Hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers, buns and condiments will be provided. Please bring a side dish of choice to add to the buffet and whatever drinks you might like to have. In order to reduce waste, we will only have a limited number of disposable plates and utensils available. Please bring your own if possible, in addition to whatever you want to drink and a side dish (chips are fine! if you didn't manage anything, also fine.) There is also a trailer nearby that sells water, coffee and beer.
