DA Türkiye Votes! Ankara Ballot Assistance Event
DA TÜRKIYE VOTES! CAST YOUR BALLOT for your preferred candidate for the US Democratic Nomination for President of the United States at the Democrats Abroad Primary (or Global Presidential Primary) and sign up for your Federal Postcard Application (FPCA) for November.
DA Ankara is hosting a second Ballot Assistance Event to help register Americans in Ankara to vote in the 2024 elections:
Thursday, March 7th
4:00 PM to 7:00 PM IST.
Bilkent Starbucks (Across from Sports International)
This Event is for any members and non-members of Democrats Abroad that would like help with:
➡️Voting in the Global Presidential Primary. (REQUEST YOUR BALLOT HERE)
➡️Getting their FPCA (Overseas Ballot) Request for the November and State Primary Ballots. (REGISTER AT VOTE FROM ABROAD HERE)*
➡️Updating their membership information AND learning how to get more engaged in building our Democrats Abroad Türkiye Committee.
➡️New members must register to vote in the Global Primary by joining Democrats Abroad at democratsabroad.org/join. Same-day registration allowed.
After you vote, we invite you to connect and socialize with members and our volunteers about how you can help us grow our Democrats Abroad community in Ankara.
If you can't make it, make sure to exercise your right to vote and your voice by going to Vote From Abroad (votefromabroad.org) to get your ballots for 2024!
Democrats Abroad General Information
Here are is specific information related to voting in the Democrats Abroad Primary:
➡️ The 2024 Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary runs from March 5 to March 12, 2024.
➡️ Ballots for remote voting will be available from February 13th.**
➡️ New members must register to vote in the Global Primary by joining Democrats Abroad at democratsabroad.org/join.
➡️ To join Democrats Abroad, you must be a US citizen abroad, and 18 years of age as of November 5, 2024.
* NOTE: This is a primary for president only. To vote in local primary races in the U.S., you still need to request a ballot from your state. If you do, leave the choice of presidential nominee blank. Don’t vote twice!
**If you registered to get your ballot ahead of time by email, you will receive an email from the Global Presidential Primary Team with instructions to access your ballot.
