Taxes 101 for US Expats in Türkiye
We are excited to host our Tax 101 Session to help US expats residing in Türkiye have a stronger understanding of paying taxes overseas. This is an annual webinar Democrats Abroad in Türkiye hosts for Americans who:
- Have questions about their tax or extension deadlines for US expats.
- Have outstanding questions about how to handle their taxes in the future.
- Would like to learn more about addressing US taxes from Türkiye going into the new tax year.
- What is FATCA and FBAR?
- Accidental Americans: Born in the US but never lived there? Do you need to file US taxes?
This is an especially important year - due to some of the major changes that have taken place in the US tax code this past congressional session.
Anyone is invited to attend via Zoom, regardless of membership in Democrats Abroad!
This is a Small Donation Event - we ask each of our RSVP'ed members to make a contribution of $10 or more to support the event.
This is a great opportunity to learn about this important issue that impacts Americans living here in all situations.
