Join DAUK's Tax Committee for this special event to discuss Residency Based Taxation (RBT). DA and American Citizens Abroad (ACA) have been advocating a switch from Citizenship Based Taxation to RBT for American expats. Joe Smallhoover, Chair DA France and Member of DA Taxation Task Force will update us on DA's advocacy work to date and explain the hurdles and roadblocks DA have encountered. Mike Larsen, ACA, UK Chapter Chair will share information about the framework of the ACA RBT policy proposal. Finally, we will discuss what we as Democrats Abroad can do to give RBT the push it needs to make it a reality.
