US Independence Day Potluck Picnic
Join us for our US Independence Day Potluck Picnic!
Celebrate and connect with fellow Americans. Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy a fun afternoon meeting new friends and catching up with familiar ones.
Our leaders also invite attendees to learn more about our forming DA Istanbul Chapters, how to get involved and continue to grow the presence of Democrats Abroad as we advocate in 2025 and get ready for 2026.

The entrance is on PALANGA CD, 1 km from Barbaros Cd and the Yildiz Metro stop. (It is a long walk so if you come from the metro, I would try to catch a taxi!)
DO NOT ENTER from the sahil, ÇIRAĞAN CD, especially if you are walking or coming by taxi (who won’t enter the park). Otherwise you will have a very long walk uphill maybe taking an hour.
If you take the ferry to Besiktas, take a taxi up Barbaros to Palanga to the park. You can arrange to meet others and share a taxi.
The picnic is a potluck.
