Voter Assistance at the International English Library

In collaboration with the International English Library and the American International Women’s Club of Düsseldorf, we will host a conversation about why it is as important as ever to VOTE even during midterm elections.

Topics will include: Why you should VOTE, How to VOTE, Why you should register to VOTE and frequently asked questions about voting – how it makes a difference! We will have trained volunteers on hand to help you request your ballot and answer your voting questions. Join us (even if you consider yourself an expert voter!)

We will be at the International English Library (Mecumstr 10, Düsseldorf). All members and non-members are welcome to join!

By car:

There is limited street parking across the road from the building and in the side streets (Gurlittstrasse and Fruchtstrasse).

The nearest public parking is the Q-park in Brinckmannstrasse, which is a 300m walk to the library.

The parking garage at the Düsseldorf Arcaden is 850m away, and an 11 minute walk.

By bus:

The Feuerbachstrasse bus stop is directly in front of the building and is serviced by the 780,782, & 785 bus lines.

All buses go from/to Heinrich-Heine-Allee, just outside the old Carsch-Haus, or Opera building (depending on direction).

By U-bahn, Strassenbahn:

U72, U73,  704, 705 or 706  with the nearest stops being:

Auf’m Hennekamp (200m walk), Karolingerplatz (300m walk)
