Despite limited movement and gas in Haiti a small group of us met on April 8th for an inspiring look at Costa Rica's daring and innovative approach to social democracy and peace through the elimination of their military, investment in healthcare and education and active engagement in international law.    The move "A Bold Peace" gave great insight of the history of demilitarization and the challenges throughout...and ahead.  If you are interested in borrowing this film to see it for yourself, just let us know ([email protected]).
