GOTV Training for DA Spain: Hosting a GOTV event

DA Spain is sponsoring a four-session series to get leaders and GOTV volunteers ready for the 2026 midterm elections. We will meet once a month between late September and early December 2025. All sessions will be recorded, but live attendance is strongly encouraged. 

 

The second session will be held October 28 at 7:30 p.m. CET, and will cover the following:

Hosting a GOTV event: 

1. Nuts of bolts of putting together a GOTV event

2. Tool kit, including supplies - discussion - what’s worked and what do chapters and precincts need? 

3. Leveraging social media, emails and newsletter

4. Discussion of timing of GOTV events in the first quarter of 2026

5. Common challenges and how to overcome them 

Expected outcome: At the conclusion of the meeting each chapter, precinct and at-large participants will know how to put together a GOTV event, and will either have the needed supplies and resources, or they will be ordered and delivered. Participants will be ready to plan GOTV events and be prepared to discuss at our final meeting for 2025 their GOTV schedule for the first quarter of 2026.
