Volunteer orientation for GPP

In years when there is a presidential primary, such as 2024, Democrats Abroad holds a Global Presidential Primary (GPP). Similar to the experience of voting in your home state for the Democratic nominee for President, members can vote for their favorite primary candidate in person, right here in Barcelona, under the umbrella of Democrats Abroad (the "51st state"). All DA chapters offer in-person voting in the GPP.  It is the only time overseas voters cast an in-person ballot, and although it won't be held in a smelly high school gymnasium, our event plans to be just as authentic, legally binding AND fun! 

The GPP will take place in March 2024, but planning for this hugely consequential event begins right now! Are you interested in helping out, or maybe just curious to learn more about this unique exercise in democracy? 

Meet us on November 5 (exactly one year out from election day 2024!) for a coffee and planning session at the CCCB Café. The address is calle Montalegre 5. Enter through main interior courtyard at the back on the left from the Montalegre entrance.The meeting will last approximately 1.5 hours. Please contact me with any questions.
