DA Scotland EGM

Due to current vacancies, DA Scotland will be holding an EGM to elect vacant chapter ExCom positions.  Please see descriptions of the positions to be filled below.  If you are interested in any of these positions, get in touch with [email protected] by 12th November.

Vice Chair - The Vice Chair shall act in the absence of the Chair, shall undertake such other specific duties as the Chair may direct and, whenever possible, shall attend Council meetings of the DAUK Council.

Secretary - The Secretary shall maintain or have access to a list of members of the organization, minutes of all meetings of the organization, and shall keep all files and administrative records of the organization available for inspection by any council member. The officer will be responsible for the output of the Chapter on social media platforms, and take an active lead in publicising upcoming events and meetings.

Treasurer - The Treasurer shall be responsible for the financial management of the organization, and shall be responsible for financial record keeping while also taking an active role in event planning and management.

Campaigns Officer - The Campaigns Officer shall act as lead in organising efforts relating to voter registration, ballot return efforts and other events as they arise relating to supporting Democratic causes. These events may include, but are not limited to, phone-banking, guest speakers and protest gatherings.
