We will gather on Tuesday, 13 January at 6pm to honour the life of Renee Good and all those others who have been victims of ICE brutality. Her murder, along with the deaths of others at the hands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), has shaken our community with grief and outrage. We will gather at the US Consulate, 3 Regent Terrace, Edinburgh EH7 5BW.
This vigil is a space to mourn Renee, to acknowledge the pain so many have carried over the past year, and to stand together in solidarity and care.
Attendees will be invited to speak from the heart—about Renee and other victims of ICE brutality, about the weight of this past year, and about the collective resolve that keeps us moving forward. Together, we will hold silence, share stories, and reaffirm our commitment to dignity, justice, and one another.
We will encourage those in attendance to contact their elected representatives and demand action in reigning in ICE and the authoritarian immigration regime as put in place by the Trump Administration.
