Come Celebrate the 4th with DAKE!

Join us for an afternoon of laid-back vibes and red, white, and you at our 4th of July BBQ Celebration — a chance to unwind, catch up with fellow Dems, and reflect on what independence, activism, and community mean in this moment.

On Saturday, July 5th, we’re taking the celebration to a beautiful private home in Gigiri, Nairobi, hosted by one of our fabulous ExCo members. Expect good music, great company, and classic BBQ cheer.

What to expect:
•⁠ ⁠A warm and welcoming space for Democrats, friends, and family
•⁠ ⁠Food for purchase — including shawarma, grilled bites, and vegetarian options
•⁠ ⁠Soft drinks, utensils, and all the BBQ basics provided by DAKE
•⁠ ⁠A chance to connect, laugh, and share what this country (and this community) mean to you

We’ll kick off at 12 noon and wrap by 2pm — just enough time for your belly and your spirit to feel full.

The exact address will be shared after RSVP confirmation. Please RSVP early so we can plan food, seating, and those all-important drinks.
