INTERNATIONAL TAX PROBLEM SOLVING DAY

What: One-to-one private & confidential zoom appointment with the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service

Why: To help anyone residing outside of the United States resolve an issue with the IRS

Where: Zoom (online)

Cost: It is free for anyone to attend, regardless of income level, age, or citizenship. Click to RSVP

When: Saturday, October 14 10:00am Sydney

This session has been scheduled at a time friendly to those living in the Asia Pacific and Americas regions of the world.

This session is for you if you:

• You have to file a US tax return with the IRS
• You are an American living outside the US, green card holder, or a non-US citizen with a US tax or reporting obligation
• need help resolving an outstanding IRS refund
• need help resolving an IRS communication problem
• want to ask a question about how to fill out a specific tax form to complete your tax return
• need help resolving a penalty from the IRS

1. This will be the last 2023 Problem Solving Day specifically for international taxpayers. The next one will be March 2024.

If you require assistance but can't attend you have 2 alternative option - 1) see if there are any stateside virtual Problem Solving Days coming up here or 2) apply for TAS assistance here (please email Rebecca Lammers of the DA Taxation Task Force if you do this, as she may be able to help expedite your request)
