    Zoom Meeting in Geneva, Switzerland

DACH Geneva Book Club - February 2021

For February, we will be reading They are Us: Lutherans and Immigration (2nd ed.) by Stephen Bouman and our own Ralston (Ralie) Deffenbaugh. This is a look at the entire question of immigration. Parts are based on Christian, specifically Lutheran, theology but much is historical, legal, and social science. And we obviously have an especially qualified leader for this discussion!

Additional information about this (and future) event(s) can be found here.

The February meeting will be held via Zoom. If you are not already on the Geneva Book Club mailing list, please send Sam an email letting him know you would like to be included.

For March, we will be reading Conservatism: The Fight for a Tradition by Edmund Fawcett. In response to members wanting to better understand the opposition, this serious study covers conservatism for 250 years in multiple countries. It has excellent reviews and we have until March to digest its 544 pages.
