DA Denmark Book Club Planning Meeting
Are you a book enthusiast who enjoys exploring the politics, history, current events, and culture of the United States and its global impact? Do you crave engaging in lively and thoughtful discussions with like-minded individuals? If so, the DA Denmark Book Club is the perfect place for you!
So far this year, we've read some exceptional books, including "The Family Roe" by Joshua Prager, "Beloved" by Toni Morrison, and "Myth America" Kevin M. Kruse and Julian E. Zelizer. We welcomed author David Litt to discuss his book "Democracy in One Book or Less" and we just wrapped up "The Ministry for the Future" by Kim Stanley Robinson.
Now, it's time to plan our next year of reading, and we'd love to have your input! Join us for our online planning session on Tuesday, September 17th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This gathering will be an excellent opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new members, and collectively choose the books that will ignite our discussions for the next few months. Looking for some inspiration? Then check out our "Want to Read" list on our Good Reads account.
If you share a passion for reading and engaging in captivating conversations, we can't wait to have you join us as we continue to explore the captivating world of books and ideas!
