Do you enjoy reading books that explore the politics, history, current events, and culture of the United States and its impact on the world? Do you like the idea of being a part of a community that enjoys lively and thoughtful discussion? Then the DA Denmark Book Club could be the place for you! This month we'll meet online on Tuesday, September 20th from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm to say hello to old friends, get to know new ones, and choose the books that we will be reading and discussing for the next 6 months. Some of our past reads include The Deepest South of All: True Stories from Natchez, Mississippi by Richard Grant, Midnight in Washington by Adam Schiff, On Earth We Are Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty by Patrick Radden Keefe, There There by Tommy Orange, and Love and War in Afghanistan by Alex Klaits and Gulchin Gulmamadova-Klaits.
