Monthly Meetup in Aarhus - Memorial Day in the Park

Join us on Monday, May 25th, from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM for a relaxed and meaningful Memorial Day picnic with Democrats Abroad Denmark in Aarhus, marking a rare alignment of U.S. and Danish national holidays. We’ll gather near the playground in a local park to honor those who have served, enjoy each other’s company, and welcome the start of summer.

Bring a picnic blanket and your own lunch. We'll bring the charcoal, so if the park grills are available, feel free to bring something to throw on. Please also bring your own drinks. If you’d like to bring something extra to share, you’re very welcome to, but there’s absolutely no pressure.

Kids are very welcome, and there’s plenty of space to play with a playground right nearby.

Whether you’re a longtime member or just getting involved, this is a great chance to connect, reflect, and enjoy a classic American tradition with a Danish twist.
