Volunteer Information and Training Session for the DA Denmark Global Presidential Primary

In March 2024 DA Denmark will join Democrats around the world to host our very own voting centers as part of the Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary (GPP). Our IN-PERSON voting will take place in Copenhagen at Østerbrohuset on Super Tuesday, March 5th, and in Aarhus on Saturday, March 9th. We need your help to make our GPP's a success.  

There are lots of different ways to help out. Here are some (but not all) roles we’re looking for right now: 

• Greeter
  • welcomes voters and gets them started in joining if they are not members
• Membership Verification and Sign-up
  • Make sure voters are members of Democrats Abroad, helps them join if they aren’t members, and hand out ballots.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Ballot Box Watcher
  • Make sure voters return their ballots. 
  • Answer questions about filling out the ballot or send the voter to the appropriate person to get answers and help distribute official statements and information as needed
• Voter Registration 
  • Make sure members have registered and requested their ballots in their home states.  
• Tellers 
  • Responsible for tallying votes after the close of voting.
  • Ensure accuracy and transparency in the counting process.
• Set up/ Clean up
  We'll also need volunteers to help set up the spaces before and clean up the spaces after the primary.
