“The Big Bad” – Book Reading with American Author Brad Huestis - DAI Nürnberg
Our friends at the Deutsch-Amerikanisches Institut Nürnberg are hosting a book reading with American Author Brad Huestis
The Big Bad is a morally driven military thriller that extends beyond action into ethical conflict, a compelling exploration of justice, integrity, and emotional truth under pressure. It connects not only with fans of fast-paced military thrillers, but with readers who seek character-driven stories that challenge conviction, provoke reflection, and linger long after the final page.
Brad Huestis served as an artilleryman and judge advocate, is Airborne and Ranger qualified, and was awarded a Bronze Star for his service in Iraq. He holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Tampa, and his debut novel, Ahab: A Hockey Story, earned a bronze medal in literary fiction from the Military Writers Society of America. He splits his time between Weiden, Bavaria, and Tampa, Florida.
