A lot is happening—and fast.
From the release of the Epstein files, to renewed threats of U.S. involvement abroad, to the shocking murder of Renee Good, the news cycle has been relentless. For many of us, it’s been unsettling, exhausting, and at times deeply disturbing.
That’s exactly why we’re gathering.
Our January Democrats Abroad Nürnberg meeting is first and foremost a check-in—a space to see one another, to take a breath together, and to talk honestly about how we’re doing. From there, we’ll turn our attention to what comes next: how we stay grounded, engaged, and effective in what is shaping up to be one of the most important election years of our lifetime.
Whether you’ve been active for years or have been quietly watching events unfold from a distance, you are welcome. Bring your thoughts, your questions, your concerns, and, if you like, a small snack to share.
Democracy has always depended on people coming together in moments like this. Let’s do that—calmly, thoughtfully, and in community.
