RBI: Request Ballot Internationally!

 

American citizens have the right to vote in U.S. federal elections, no matter where you live in the world or how long you’ve lived there - and the Vote From Abroad team is here to help!

During the April 25th Guggenberger Legionäre home game at Armin Wolf Arena in Regensburg, we'll help American citizens get on base by requesting their ballots.  Everyone should request their overseas absentee ballot from your US voting state every year. Doing so will ensure that you receive all overseas absentee ballots relevant to you — including the general election in the fall, as well as any special elections and local and state primaries. If you are an American citizen and would like to request an overseas absentee ballot while enjoying an exciting baseball game, then come to the Armin Wolf Arena on Saturday, April 25th. 

The game begins at 2:00 pm and representatives from our chapter will be there to assist you, as needed, as soon as the doors open at 1:00 pm. And if you have already registered to vote in your home state, please feel free to drop by the team and have a chat with fellow Americans. The event is non-partisan and we welcome all eligible American citizens regardless of their party affiliation. Please pass the word on to other American baseball fans who may wish to attend, as well.

What to bring: 

• your social security number or state ID number
• your voting address in the USA

RSVPs are welcome, but certainly not required.
