Join us for a practical, hands-on webinar that will show you how to contact your MoCs with confidence, clarity, and impact—no matter where you are in the world. We’ll wrap up with a Zoom call party, where we’ll take action together by encouraging House Representatives to join the Americans Abroad Caucus. This webinar supports our ongoing push for the U.S. to adopt Residency-Based Taxation, in place of Citizenship-Based Taxation. Your participation is a vital part of this work.

As Americans abroad, we’re directly impacted by U.S. laws—but often left out of the conversation. With major decisions on tax policy and other key issues being debated in Congress, it’s never been more important for your Members of Congress (MoCs) to hear from you.
You’ll learn why outreach from Americans abroad is essential and increasingly powerful, how to identify your MoCs using tools like 5calls.org, and why calling is the most effective form of advocacy. We’ll also cover email, social media, and how to get your message counted even if your MoC’s office isn’t answering the phone. Free and low-cost calling options will be discussed, along with sample phone scripts and tips to make your message personal and persuasive.
This webinar is for you if you want Congress to hear from Americans abroad—on tax reform or any other issue. It’s especially for you if you’ve never contacted your MoCs before, don’t know where to start, or aren’t sure who they are.
While we’ll focus on tax reform advocacy, everything you’ll learn can be used to speak up about the issues that matter most to you.
This will be a workshop so, hands on participation is expected!
