South Korea Membership Verification
*Please note that this 'event' is being used as a placeholder and will not take place in person. Do not show up at the address provided.*
Democrats Abroad Republic of Korea is verifying its members' information through the month of January. We do this annually to ensure that we have our members' most up-to-date contact information. To self verify, please:
1. Visit VoteFromAbroad.org and request your absentee ballot for 2022. Make sure to indicate that you are a member of Democrats Abroad on that page.
AND/OR
2. RSVP for this "event" to ensure you are still an "active" member. Then, check your profile on this page and verify that you have listed the most up to date contact information (see below).
The Republic of Korea changed addressing systems on July 29th, 2011 from the land-lot based address system to the road name address system. Where possible, please update your information to match the current, official system. For example:
Apt. 102-304 (secondary unit)
Sajik-ro-3-gil 23 (street level)
Jongno-gu, Seoul 30174 (city/ward or gun-eup, province, postal code)
For more information, visit the Korea Post website.
The country calling code for the Republic of Korea is +82. When calls are made to a Republic of Korea number from abroad, the initial "0" (zero) is dropped, (e.g. +82 10-5555-5555). 010 is the prefix for all mobile subscribers within the Republic of Korea, and this entire prefix can be dropped when making calls between unified mobile subscribers. To ensure consistency, please follow the format on VoteFromAbroad.org (do not include the initial '0'). For those listing a landline, please make sure to include the area code:
