In order to provide additional time for Candidate Nominations and Voting,

Please note the following changes:

Candidate Nominations will be continued through May 26th 

Voting will be May 29 - June 12th 

 

 

Extended Call for Candidates - Now through May 26th

DA Caribbean Islands' Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC) announces the Special Election for DPCA Voting Representative and Alternate Voting Representative to add additional representation for DA Caribbean Islands at DA Global-level meetings; DPCA, or "Democratic Party Committee Abroad" is the DNC's official designation for Democrats Abroad. If you are interested in joining DA CAR IS's Chair and Vice Chair in representing DA Caribbean Islands at the DA global level on issues that affect both DA global and DA CAR IS, please submit your Candidate Nomination form (Alternate Representative must be of opposite gender than the Voting Rep, in keeping with the DNC and DA's gender balance rules):

The deadline for submitting the Candidate Nomination Form, Candidate Statement, and photo is May 26th midnight, your island's time. To be eligible, candidate must reside within the Caribbean Islands and have been a DA member prior to the May 26th deadline.
