DA France Thanksgiving in Cavaillon

As we enter November it’s time to think about Thanksgiving and once again DA-Avignon plans to celebrate. This year we’ll gather on the actual American holiday, Thursday, November 23.

And as in the past, a Family Style celebration will be hosted by Joan and Charlie Jarowski at their home in Cavaillon.  It will be an opprtunity to meet, give thanks and share ideas and plans for next year.  The important Presidential Election will be 12 months away!  Discussion should be lively.

But first, we eat!  A ‘potluck’ menu is being planned focused on American traditions, i.e. family and regional favourites, holiday fare as enjoyed in different States.  Of course turkey and other ‘essentials' will be present.  We’re hoping for contributions of typical holiday starters, sides, desserts and drinks to round out the menu.  Everyone is encouraged to participate.
