DAUK Meet & Greet Senator Elissa Slotkin (MI)
Join fellow Democrats Abroad UK members this Sunday, Feb 16, in London to meet U.S. Senator from Michigan, Elissa Slotkin.
Senator Slotkin has served our nation throughout her career. She is a former CIA analyst who did three tours in Iraq alongside the U.S. military, has held national security roles at the Pentagon and White House under Presidents Bush and Obama, served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs at the Pentagon, and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from 2018-2024. In November 2024, Elissa was elected to serve Michigan in the U.S. Senate, succeeding Debbie Stabenow. In the Senate, Elissa will fight to expand Michigan’s middle class, create jobs with dignity, and keep our communities and children safe.

*Donations will offset the cost of room rental and light refreshments, and help support DAUK’s never-ending work to elect Democrats while building our community.

- Due to the very short notice given to DAUK for this event, we deeply regret access to the meeting room is by stairs only. If you require assistance to navigate stairs safely, please indicate this in your RSVP and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
- Tea, coffee, and light pastries will be served. Please plan to eat lunch before/after the event, as no outside food is permitted.
