Together We Rise: Voices of Hope & Inspiration

January 20,, 2025 will be a difficult day for Democrats and all people who believe in our Constitution, truth, and treating others with dignity and respect.

Drawing our inspiration from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, whose remembrance day is also observed on the third Monday of January, you’re invited to join fellow Democrats Abroad UK members online for “Together We Rise: Voices of Hope and Inspiration.”

At this 45-minute session participants are invited to read poetry or lyrics from songs, offer inspirational quotes, perform live music, or contribute other forms of expression that reflect the true meaning of what it means to be a champion of democracy, truth, equality, and justice.


How It Works:

1) Contributors are limited to a maximum of 3 minutes, including any prefatory remarks on why the piece was chosen.   (Please time yourself prior to the day)

2) Contributors will be chosen in the order in which the Secretary records them in the queue.   

3) We apologize if we are unable to hear from all in the queue before the allotted time is up.
