Malcolm Kenyatta serves as Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee, where he helps shape party messaging and strategy for a broad coalition that includes younger and working-class Americans. A skilled communicator, he is frequently deployed as a national surrogate—speaking at major events, representing the party in media, and translating policy priorities into accessible messages. He has also focused on grassroots engagement, energizing volunteers and expanding voter outreach, including among Americans abroad.
On policy, Kenyatta centers his advocacy on economic justice, equity, and expanded opportunity. He supports raising the minimum wage, strengthening labor rights, and expanding access to affordable healthcare and fully funded public education. He is also a vocal advocate for voting rights, criminal justice reform, LGBTQ+ equality, and racial justice—consistently emphasizing investment in working-class communities and a government that serves those historically left out of the political and economic mainstream.
