The amount and importance of news is overwhelming and, oftentimes, of great concern and perhaps in need of some action in response.
We are looking for someone to help us follow and share developments in the disability area and also certain aspects of healthcare in general.
This designated person would receive articles, reports or posts of interest from members of the GDC Steering Committee and others and would then write (or have AI write) a brief summary of the content. They would maintain a general file (or set of files) to be kept in our GDC archive and distributed to members of the Steering Committee .
We’d also hope to set up parameters for what information would be added to other news column on our website, what could be sent for posting on our social media, where we could write up an article for our newsletter, what might be interesting to all of DA or to a region, when action might be required, what information might be useful on our resource page and any other creative ways to benefit from the news.
The time involved is flexible and it would be terrific to find others who can assist with summaries so we have a small but mighty team keeping watch.
We can provide lots of good (and free) sources to monitor and there are always more being discovered.
