State Team Year End Review and Look Ahead

You're invited to the State Team 'Year End Review and Look Ahead' to look at the successes and possibilities of the Democrats Abroad state-focussed outreach. Over the last several months, multiple teams have formed representing the interests of overseas voters from key states. We'll look back at the formation of this movement and the various activities of the different state teams. We will also strategize how to make an impact in the 2022 election cycle and win elections up and down the ballot.

For more information, have a look at this article by one of our Ohioans Abroad volunteers.

Join us on Slack to find out what the states are planning and find out how to get involved. If you have any questions, please write to [email protected].

Defending Democracy Together with Malcolm Nance

On January 6, 2021, people around the world watched in horror as a vicious mob attacked the US. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Scores of people were injured and five lost their lives during the attempt to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s electoral college win.

One year later, we come together to remember and reflect on the historical moment in which we find ourselves, when 58% of self-identified Republicans continue to believe the Big Lie that former President Trump won the election.

As Democrats Abroad, we will be defending democracy the best way we know how: by registering to vote and helping others do the same. Together, we will send in our FPCAs (Federal Post Card Applications), which serve as both voter registration and ballot request forms for overseas voters. We will also use the occasion to review procedures and train ourselves to assist our members as they prepare to vote in 2022.

Almost exactly a year to the hour when many of us witnessed the events of January 6 unfold in real time, we will hear from a very special guest. Malcolm Nance, national security expert, bestselling author, and a longtime friend of Democrats Abroad Germany, is uniquely qualified to strengthen our determination as we face these unprecedented challenges to our democracy.  Mr. Nance will remind us both of what we can do from abroad and why it is of such vital importance that we do it.

Please join the Democrats Abroad Germany – Munich Chapter as we kick off our GOTV and Voter Assistance efforts heading into the most consequential midterm elections of our lifetimes! RSVP today!

Don’t wait! Register to vote/request your absentee ballot today at
