Greetings from Democrats Abroad Mexico!
The 2022 midterms are around the corner and are more important than ever! We are hanging onto power in Congress by a thin thread.
We are beginning to organize our chapters and volunteers throughout Mexico to help hundreds of thousands of US citizens in Mexico register to vote and to return their ballots.
We have not previously had a structured effort in BCS but are looking forward to leveraging the energy of the over 240 members of DAMX living throughout the state.
Erik Markeset has kindly offered to host a kickoff meeting at his home in Puerta de Hierro (Colonia El Tezal, near the Home Depot) in Los Cabos. Erik has participated in Democrats Abroad for many years and was Chair of the Mexico City chapter from 2016 to 2018, where he still owns a business.
Erik works in Mexico City but visits Cabo from time to time. He will be there next week and has proposed Tuesday, Jan 25, 6 PM for a social and a planning meeting.
