This year marks Democrats Abroad Canada's 25th year at Pride Toronto! If you are interested in taking part in the most fun event of the summer with us, please save the date and complete a volunteer form. |
What: Toronto Pride Parade and Street Fair
When:
- Street Fair: June 25 (12pm - 8pm) and June 26 (12pm - 8pm)
- Parade: June 26 (exact marching time to be communicated closer to the event)
Where: Yonge Street and Church/Wellesley Village, Toronto. Exact meeting details will be communicated to you closer to the event.
Why: To celebrate and honor our LGBTQ+ community, engage with the community, and get out the vote!
What to expect:
- Street Fair: We will have two side-by-side booths at the weekend-long street festival from June 25-26. We are looking for volunteers to sit at the booth, greet festival goers, share information about DA, register Americans to vote, and have some fun! To participate in the booth, you can sign up for whatever time commitment you are able to throughout the weekend.
- Parade: We will have a group marching in the parade on Sunday. This will be a fun opportunity to march with fellow DA members down the fun and vibrant section of Yonge Street on parade day. This will be an exciting event to participate in-- it will also involve a longer time on your feet and we will not be having a float or vehicle with our marching group.
