Bill Derrough is an investment banker who works in recapitalization and restructuring at a global investment bank in New York. He was elected to serve as the Treasurer of the Democratic National Committee in February 2017.
Bill's nonprofit board service includes the Boy Scouts of Greater New York, Lambda Legal (a leading national LGBT legal rights organization), a San Francisco AIDS hospice, several educational entities and several Catholic charities. Over the past 20 years he has raised millions of dollars for Democrats.
The son of a Guatemalan immigrant and a WWII veteran, Bill was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his husband and two sons.

Funds raised for Democrats Abroad will be used to support country committees worldwide in their efforts to maximize voter turnout and awareness among Americans living abroad this election year. The ultimate goal is to help take back the House and the Senate this November!

Vegetarian Menu: bruschetta, tagliolini con carciofi (artichokes), parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant), dessert

Host: $436 ($1 for each Congressional District up for election in 2018)
Sponsors and hosts will be seated at Mr. Derrough’s Table.
Hosts will have the opportunity to make a toast or presentation during the meal.

Foreign friends and family may attend, but donors must be US citizens and cannot be reimbursed by non-US citizens.

The Political Science Department of John Cabot University will host a panel discussion with Mr. Derrough on campaign finance reform earlier in the evening that is open to the public and free of charge (more details). However, the private dinner will give you the opportunity to meet and speak to Mr. Derrough in a much more intimate setting. He will also speak to DA members about the DNC and the Democratic Party’s strategy for taking back Congress this November, followed by a Q&A session.
