Potlucks & Politics (and Superbowl)

Your Chapter of Democrats Abroad is having a special "Potluck & Politics" party in Ottawa

It’s a chance to come together as a community, enjoy the game, and chat about the work ahead of us in a relaxed, fun environment.

The purpose is to build our community with impactful discussions about what is happening in the United States and around the world.

But - that can't be done without food!

Plus - its all on Superbowl Sunday.

The Game Plan:

• Kickoff: We’ll start gathering at 5 PM.  This will give us lots of time before the game starts at 6:30 PM.  there is lots of room to either watch the game or keep the conversation going.
• The Food: It’s a potluck!  You can bring your favourite dish to share - appetizers, sides, mains, desserts, or your favorite game-day comfort food.  If you can't cook - there are lots of take out places near our location so you can quickly grab something.  Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are all welcome.  
• Date: Sunday, February 8, 2026
• Location:  Condo building in downtown Ottawa on Somerset near Elgin
