The U.S. and E.U: The Race to Electric Vehicles
Welcome to our April Climate Cafe, where we will discuss how recent developments impact the direction of e-mobility and the pace of development in both the US and EU. Aaron Fishbone, policy director for EU Greenway, will lead the discussion on this germane topic.
For the last few years, after China, the EU has been leading in the deployment of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure and the growth of the industry overall. However, the Biden Administration has taken big steps to narrow this gap. In the wake of the Inflation Reduction Act, many investments are being moved to the USA, which has further sparked concern about a trade war between the two continents.
What do recent developments mean for the direction of e-mobility and the pace of development in both the US and EU?
