Residence Based Taxation Call Storm

The US is the only developed nation that taxes its citizens on their world-wide income. This system has been in place since the Revenue Act of 1913 was signed by FDR. All these years later we are burdened not only with increasingly complex and costly forms and filings, we are also obliged to submit reports on our foreign accounts and other financial assets. DA has been working for more than five years for reforms to FBAR and FATCA; it's time we turn our actions to the deeper cause - Citizenship Based Taxation. DA is pushing the 115th Congress to include Residency Based Taxation in the package of personal tax reforms it plans to consider.

On 15 June we are holding the first call storm to call Congress on this matter. There are two ways to participate: you can call from your own home, or join us at a call party locally.
