DAWS September Afterwork - Project 2025 - What does it mean for you?

What have you heard about Project 2025? Democrats are alarmed about this regressive plan that seems to be embraced by the Republicans.  The plan prioritizes corporate interests and ideological goals over the well-being of US citizens and the preservation of democratic principles.  Would you like to learn more?  We will be discussing Project 2025 and how it would be a significant step backward for the country, undoing decades of progress in various areas, including environmental protection, social justice, and economic equality should it be implemented. 

In preparation for discussion we would ask you to view the video in the link below from the "Saving of Democracy" series, Project 2025: Thomas Zimmer on Everything You Need to Know.  Thomas Zimmer is a historian and professor who has been writing, lecturing, and podcasting on this issue non-stop. 
Join us for what should be a lively discussion about a very serious topic.  Grab something to eat and/or drink on your way up to the 2nd floor.
