Happy New Year Everyone! It´s that time once again and DA Guadalajara is on the move to help U.S. Citizens register to vote for the Midterms this year. Please join us for our first in-person gathering in 2022 and learn how to vote from abroad using www.votefromabroad.org.
We’ll meet at The Black Sheep on Saturday, January 29th at 11:00 am in a safe environment and teach you how to register and request your ballot. Please arrive vaccinated and masked. We’ll also discuss how to ensure your ballot is received and counted. Most importantly, you´ll be able to help other U.S. citizens throughout the year do the same. With nearly 50,000 U.S. citizens living in the greater metropolitan area of Guadalajara, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Volunteer opportunities throughout the year include –
- Helping friends and relatives
- Serving at in-person GOTV events scheduled throughout the coming months
- Supporting press and publicity opportunities
- Participating with online and telephone support

¡Feliz Año a todos! Es tiempo otra vez y Demócratas en el Extranjero (DA) Guadalajara está en acción para ayudar a los ciudadanos de Estados Unidos a registrarse para votar en las Elecciones Intermedias este año. Por favor acompáñenos en nuestra primera reunión presencial en 2022 para aprender a votar desde el extranjero usando http://www.votefromabroad.org.
Nos reuniremos en El Black Sheep el sábado 29 de enero a las 11:00 am en un entorno seguro para enseñarle a registrarse y solicitar su boleta. Por favor llegue vacunada y enmascarada. También hablaremos de cómo asegurarse de que su boleta sea recibida y contada. Y aún más importante, usted estará capacitado para ayudar a otros ciudadanos estadounidenses a lo largo del año a hacer lo mismo. Con cerca de 50,000 ciudadanos de Estados Unidos viviendo en el área Metropolitana de Guadalajara ¡NECESITAMOS SU AYUDA!
Las oportunidades para los voluntarios a lo largo del año incluyen-
- Ayudar a sus amigos y familiares
- Participar como representante de Vamos por el Voto en eventos programados a lo largo de los próximos meses
- Apoyar las oportunidades de publicidad y prensa
- Participar con soporte en línea y telefónico
