DA was well represented this week at Trinity College as Chair Patti Shields and Ex Com Member Jason Fitz-Patrick participated in a Debate Session in the infamous Chamber. Jason's Dad had once debated Mary Lou McDonald in the same venue! The motion carried, and we were also able to spread the word about voting from abroad to a very important and motivated student population! We were very impressed with the student enthusiasm and passion for US politics and the 2024 election and will be sure to come back again! The Hist Society also generously treated Patti and Jason to a lovely dinner prior to the Debate at Carlucci's.
