DAB Annual General Meeting & Executive Committee Elections

Join us for the 2021 Annual General Meeting – to be held online on 21 March 2021 – and help to elect the new Executive Committee, which will guide DAB through the next two years.

DAB members will cast their votes online for the following positions:

• Chair
• Vice-Chair (Chair and Vice-Chair must be of opposite genders)
• Treasurer
• Counsel
• Secretary
• Member-at-Large 1
• Member-at-Large 2

DAB’s Nominations & Elections Committee has emailed voting instructions to all registered members. If you haven’t seen the email, check your Spam or Promotions folders. If you still don’t see it or have other questions, please email [email protected].

While non-members are welcome to attend the AGM, we need a quorum of at least 25 registered members in order for our election results to be valid.

If you haven’t been to a DAB meeting before (or if you’ve only been to a few), the AGM is a great opportunity to meet other Dems in Belgium!

Are you a U.S. citizen living in Belgium but not a registered member? Go to www.democratsabroad.org to join our chapter. You will need to register no later than Wednesday 17 March to show up on DAB’s rolls in time as an eligible voter for the DAB election.

In addition to leadership reports from the past year and this year’s elections, we do have other orders of business to cover, including a gift basket to raffle off, graciously donated by American Grocery.
